<\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nThe temperature of concrete during casting and curing has a direct impact on strength, cracking risk and service life. Too low a temperature can slow down strength development, while too high a temperature increases the risk of cracking and internal stresses. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n By continuously measuring the concrete temperature, you get full control of the curing process in real time. This makes it possible to detect deviations at an early stage, adjust insulation or heat addition and ensure that the concrete achieves the right strength according to the project requirements. Remote monitoring of concrete also provides automated documentation – an important basis for quality assurance, control plans and follow-up in both small and large concrete projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Celsicom remote monitoring system can be used to remotely monitor concrete temperatures during casting in real time. Thermocouple wires are embedded in a number of measuring points in the concrete and measurements are sent wirelessly to the<\/a>Celsiview<\/a> cloud service. Ambient air temperature is also recorded. In this way, it is possible to follow the initial temperature increase caused by the chemical reaction of the cement and the subsequent temperature decrease as the concrete hardens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With the yellow Celsicom Easy Connect loggers, no base station is needed. Each logger has its own SIM card that transmits data directly to the cloud via the Telia Narrowband-IoT network. The result is better coverage and interference-free transmission of measurement data from temperature sensors in the concrete to the cloud service in your mobile. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The user can also choose which concrete recipe is used<\/strong>. A curve for the temperature dependence of the cement reaction and a strength curve are retrieved from a database. Customer-specific recipes can also be entered into the database. Using this input data, Celsiview can then show the strength of the concrete at the current ambient air temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In other words, the person in charge of casting can see how far the curing process has progressed and the strength of the concrete at each measurement point, without using special calculation programs.
