We have developed a package consisting of a retrotec 5100 and the testo 868s thermal imager. In addition, courses in airtightness testing and thermography are included(see our course page)<\/a>. <\/strong><\/div>\n

With a Blower Door mounted in the front door and all windows and doors closed, you can create a negative pressure in the building. You can then easily document where cold air is seeping through the building shell, using a thermal imaging camera. <\/p>\n

To illustrate the method, you can look at the pictures below. They are regular pictures of an attic hatch and a corner of a room, and IR pictures of the same places with a Blower Door running. It becomes particularly clear where cold air has the opportunity to get in through leaks in the construction. The testo 868s thermal imaging camera allows you to include this type of image in your report as it takes a regular image with an integrated digital camera at the same time as the IR image. <\/p>\n

testo 868s – connected and easy-to-use thermal imaging camera<\/span><\/h2>\n

Resolution<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the heart of the testo 868s thermal imaging camera is a high quality 160 x 120 pixel detector. This means 19,200 temperature measurement points clearly indicating all critical areas. Very small temperature differences become visible thanks to a thermal resolution of less than 80 mK or 0.08 \u00b0C. With testo SuperResolution, the resolution is up to 320 x 240 pixels (76,800 pixels). <\/p>\n

The app is available as a free download for both iOS and Android and turns the user’s smartphone into a second monitor. The app can also be used to remotely control the thermal imaging camera and generate reports directly at the measurement site, which can be saved and sent by email. <\/p>\n
