Starter kit testo 174-H – compact moisture logger

Does your work involve the storage of climate-sensitive items, such as food, pharmaceuticals, archive media, museum objects, metal parts sensitive to corrosion, etc. Or you want to control the climate in buildings to determine the comfort of your tenants. In this case, continuous recording of temperature and humidity can be very useful. The testo 174-H mini data logger provides you with competent support for these types of measurement tasks. It may be small, but it provides reliable measurement results.

Moisture logger testo 174-H – benefits and features

The current measured values and any exceeded limit values can be read on the display of the moisture logger. The logger has a measurement data memory for up to 16,000 measurements. Saved measurement data is not lost even if the battery is empty or replaced.
The testo 174-H mini data logger has internal sensors for temperature and humidity. The capacitive moisture sensor from Testo is highly stable over time and has an accuracy of ± 3% RH at worst. The internal NTC-type temperature sensor also has a high accuracy of ±0.5 °C and covers a measurement range from -20 to +70 °C.
Especially practical: the mini data logger is powered by standard batteries (2x CR 2032) that you can change yourself at any time.

Programming the logger and analyzing the measurement data

Choose one of three software versions to program or read out your logger or to analyze the measurement data you have transferred to your computer:

  • ComSoft Basic software – download it for free from the Download tab – allows you to program your logger and analyze the measurement data quickly and easily.
  • The optional ComSoft Professional software gives you additional possibilities and a more detailed analysis of the measurement values.
  • ComSoft CFR 21 Part 11 software – optional – ideal for the specific requirements of the pharmaceutical sector in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11.

The advantage of the starter kit: the mini data logger is ready to use immediately as the USB interface is included. The same interface can be used to program/read multiple 174 series data loggers.

  • The moisture logger 174-H can also be purchased without USB interface (article number 0572 6560).

Installationstips

I de flesta Windows-versioner laddas filer ned till en mapp med namnet ”Hämtade filer” eller ”Download”. Flytta den nedladdade ZIP-filen till C:/temp eller direkt till C:/ och packa upp den. Högerklicka sedan på EXE-filen och välj ”Kör som administratör”. Då påbörjas installationen atuomatiskt. När allt är klart ska det ha skapats en Testo-mapp i startmenyn, där du hittar den nya programikonen.
