testo 176 T2 – robust and highly accurate data logger

The temperature logger testo 176 T2 is particularly suitable for reliable temperature monitoring on two channels. You can connect two freely selectable Pt100 sensors to the data logger, which can be found under the “sensors” tab. It is possible to safely store temperature values from two different measurement sites and, if necessary, compare them on site directly on the data logger’s display.
You can perform temperature monitoring for longer periods of time, eliminating the need for overly frequent data readings. The data logger can store up to 2 million measurements. Its battery life of up to 8 years also makes it practical for long-term temperature monitoring.

Technical features and practical benefits

The logger display gives you an overview of the current measured values, set limits and limit violations, min/max values and also the remaining battery life. There is therefore no need to read out the data logger to your PC to quickly check it. Data security is our top priority: you can be sure that the measurement data stored in the temperature logger will not be lost. They are not lost, even when the logger’s battery is empty or when you replace it.

The temperature logger is tested and certified for use in the food industry by the testing institute ATP TÜV Süd in accordance with DIN EN 12830. It is also HACCP compliant. It is protection classed in accordance with IP65 and is thus protected against e.g. fire. water jets.

Programming the logger and analyzing the measurement data

Choose one of three software versions to program or read out your logger or to analyze the measurement data you have transferred to your computer:

  • The ComSoft Basic software – available for free download – allows you to program your logger and analyze the measurement data quickly and easily.
  • The optional ComSoft Professional software gives you additional possibilities and a more detailed analysis of the measurement values.
  • ComSoft CFR 21 Part 11 software – optional – ideal for the specific requirements of the pharmaceutical sector in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11.

Included in delivery

Data logger testo 176 T2 with connection for two external temperature sensors (Pt100), including wall mount, lock, batteries and factory protocol. ATTENTION! To program the data logger you need a USB cable which is not included in the delivery but can be ordered under the accessories tab. You can transfer the measurement data to your computer via the USB cable or to an optional SD card.
