testo 164 DC – Mini door contact logger

This data logger records whether a door is open or closed and automatically sends the information to the testo Smart Connect cloud service. testo 164 DC is used together with the testo 164 GW gateway, which is available in two variants: with WiFi connection or Ethernet connection. The door contact logger is ideal for monitoring refrigerators and freezers, server rooms, warehouses and other sensitive areas where door status affects safety and quality.

Since the data logger can be connected to a dedicated gateway with Ethernet, it is possible to use it even in places without WiFi. The logger and gateway are easily connected at the push of a button and communicate wirelessly via radio signal.

All data from your connected data loggers is automatically transferred to the cloud and can be followed in real time via mobile, tablet or computer. If you also link your account to the testo Smart app, you get more smart features such as quick configuration, easy access to measurement data and push notifications for alarms. You can also link WiFi loggers from the testo 160 and 162 series to the same account, creating a flexible and fully integrated monitoring solution.

When registering a cloud account in testo Smart Connect, an email address is required. We recommend that you do not use a “personal” email address. Instead, it is better to create a “general address” that is not linked to a specific person. A suitable example could be ”info@exempel.com” or similar.
