testo 16x is a new generation of connected data loggers consisting of the testo 160, testo 162 and testo 164. Together with the cloud service testo Smart Connect and testo Smart App, you get a complete system for automated monitoring, smart alarm functions and central management of measurement data and reports.
The testo 160 and 162 series WiFi loggers replace the previous testo 160 and testo Saveris 2 models.

Automatic monitoring in the cloud
With testo 16x, different types of data loggers and external sensors can be combined in a flexible and scalable climate monitoring system. The solution is suitable for everything from individual measuring points to larger facilities in the food and pharmaceutical industries, for example, as well as in laboratories, production facilities, warehouses, museums and offices. All measurement data is automatically collected in testo Smart Connect – with access via computer, tablet or mobile. In the cloud service, users can monitor measurement values in real time, configure alarm limits and easily create and share reports. To use the system, a cloud subscription from Testo is required. Currently, the data loggers can be used free of charge in the cloud service.

testo 160: Discreet in design, powerful in performance
The WiFi data loggers of the testo 160 series provide you with reliable and seamless monitoring – automatically documented in the cloud. testo 160 is a connected logger system that you easily integrate into your own WiFi network and customize according to your needs. Choose between data loggers for temperature or humidity, or with external sensors for UV and Lux.
Discreet surveillance with covers
With their compact design and the option of using decorative covers, the testo 160 series data loggers can easily blend into their surroundings. The cover is placed over the logger and can be painted or decorated as desired – without affecting performance or reliability .

The logging system offers both loggers with built-in sensors and loggers for a wide range of external sensors, making it easy to customize to your needs. testo 162 is a WiFi-based logging system with models for temperature and humidity as well as a model that also measures pressure and CO₂.

Your measurement data is secured.
Your readings are stored in testo Smart Connect, which has strict security requirements. In addition, each logger is equipped with its own memory of up to 10,000 readings. Even in the event of a power failure or WiFi outage, data is not lost.
Simple connection.
The testo 162 connects to your WiFi network, so no separate base station is needed. The system uses different WiFi standards: IEEE 802.11 b/g/n networks, as well as IEEE 802.1x networks with WPA2 Enterprise encryption.
testo 164 series
testo 164: Connected temperature and humidity monitoring – even without WiFi
The testo 164 series consists of two different mini data loggers for temperature and humidity and two types of gateways for network connection. The loggers communicate with their gateway via radio signal and, thanks to the dedicated gateway, can be used even in premises without a WiFi network. The gateway is available in two variants – with connection via WiFi or via Ethernet – depending on the network solution available. Pairing between the logger and the gateway is easily done at the touch of a button.
Small but impressive
The testo 164 series mini data loggers are particularly discreet and durable: with a compact design and a battery life of eight years. Thanks to its agile design, it can be discreetly placed in rooms, storage areas or display cabinets without taking up unnecessary space – ideal in exhibition environments where the loggers should do their job without being noticed.
In addition to a logger for temperature and one for both temperature and humidity, the series also includes a door contact logger. It enables automatic monitoring of door status to ensure that doors to sensitive spaces are kept closed.
