testo 175 T2 – two-channel data logger for temperature

The testo 175 T2 temperature logger has an internal sensor and a connection for an external temperature sensor. This means that it is ideally suited for use when you not only want to record the indoor temperature but also want to perform a simultaneous temperature check such as the following core temperature measurement in a product. This is useful when storing and processing food. For example: the ambient conditions of your products in storage areas and cold rooms, and at the same time control the temperature of the product itself with e.g. a plug-in sensor (optional). Temperature measurement in the gaps between packages is also possible. The measurement data from both channels is securely stored in your temperature logger.

Advanced measurement techniques. High data security.

The optional temperature sensors connected to the data logger are equipped with a high accuracy NTC sensor (± 0.5°C). The internal NTC sensor also has high accuracy and a measuring range of -35°C to +55°C, which means that the data logger can be used in cold rooms and freezers. The accuracy and measuring range of optional connectable temperature sensors depends on the selected sensor model. For example, measurements in higher temperature ranges (up to +120 °C) are also possible with a suitable temperature probe.

The temperature logger’s display gives you a wide range of valuable information including current readings, limits and markings where these limits have been exceeded, min/max values and remaining battery power. Since all that information can be read directly on the display, there is no need to boot up your computer. In addition to these valuable features, the logger also has a super large data memory that can store up to 1 million measurements and an exceptionally long battery life of up to 3 years. This gives you the freedom to read out measurement data at longer intervals even when measurement cycles are shorter. The AAA batteries included in the delivery can be replaced by the user.

You can rely on a high level of data security when using the testo 175 T2 temperature logger. Saved measurement data is not lost even if the battery is empty or replaced.

Programming the logger and analyzing the measurement data

Choose one of three software versions to program or read out your logger or to analyze the measurement data you have transferred to your computer:

  • The ComSoft Basic software – available for free download – allows you to program your logger and analyze the measurement data quickly and easily.
  • The optional ComSoft Professional software gives you additional possibilities and a more detailed analysis of the measurement values.
  • ComSoft CFR 21 Part 11 software – optional – ideal for the specific requirements of the pharmaceutical sector in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11.

The data logger testo 175 T2 with internal sensor (NTC) and connection for an external temperature sensor, including wall mount, lock, batteries and factory protocol. ATTENTION! To program the data logger you need a USB cable which is not included in the delivery but can be ordered under the accessories tab. The measurement data can be transferred to the computer via the USB cable or to an optional SD card.
