testo 175 T3 – two-channel temperature data logger for thermocouple probes

The testo 175 T3 temperature data logger is equipped with two connections for external thermocouple probes (type T or type K). This means the data logger is ideally suited for temperature recording on two channels. This is necessary, for example, if you want to check that a heating system is working correctly. To do this, the temperature data logger measures the flow and return temperatures at the same time. You can also use the data logger in industrial production control, e.g. when checking process temperatures at different locations.

Advanced measurement technology. High data security.

You can choose external thermocouple probes from our wide range and order them together with the data logger. This gives you flexibility and means you can decide exactly what your temperature data logger needs to be able to do. The range we offer includes surface probes, air probes, immersion/insertion probes and wire probes. The measuring range and accuracy depend on the selected thermocouple probes. In principle, it is possible to measure from -50 °C to +1000 °C with a suitable probe.

The temperature data logger’s display gives you a wide range of valuable information including current readings, limit values and indication of exceeded limit values, min/max values, and remaining battery power. Since all this information can be read directly on the display, there is no need to start up your computer. In addition to these valuable functions, the logger also has an extra-large data memory that can store up to 1 million measurements and an exceptionally long battery life of up to 3 years. This gives you the freedom to read out measurement data at longer intervals even when the measurement cycles are shorter. The AAA batteries included in delivery can be replaced by the user. You can rely on a high level of data security when using the testo 175 T2 temperature data logger. Saved measurement data is not lost even if the battery is empty or replaced.

Programming and readout of the logger is done via a standard USB connection. Readout is also possible via an SD memory card, directly at the measuring point without taking down the logger.

Program the logger and analyse the measurement data

Choose one of three software versions to program or read out your logger, or to analyse the measurement data you have transferred to your computer:

  • ComSoft Basic software - available as a free download - lets you program your logger and analyse measurement data quickly and easily
  • ComSoft Professional software - optional - gives you additional options and a more detailed analysis of the readings
  • ComSoft CFR 21 Part 11 software - optional - ideal for the pharmaceutical sector’s special requirements in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11

Included in delivery

The testo 175 T3 data logger with connection for two external thermocouple probes, including wall bracket, lock and batteries. NOTE: To program the data logger, you need a USB cable that is not included in delivery but can be ordered under the Accessories tab. You can transfer the measurement data to a computer via the USB cable or to an SD card (available as an option).

The PC software ComSoft Basic can be downloaded from the "Download" tab.
