testo 830-T4 – IR thermometer with external sensors

With this kit you can perform all kinds of IR temperature measurements such as. on walls, windows, radiators, floors, etc. In addition, quick measurements such as room temperatures and hot water can be made by connecting the air/liquid sensor. Accurate and fast measurement of pipe temperatures with the mini-sensor.

Unique to the testo 830-T4 is the combination of small measuring area (30:1), low price, two-point laser and the possibility of connecting external temperature sensors. The IR temperature meter thus measures both non-contact and external sensors. The two laser points mark the top and bottom of the measurement spot, so you know exactly which surface you are measuring. The issue factor is freely adjustable from 0.2 to 1.00. The backlit display is easy to read even in difficult lighting conditions.

Choose from a very wide range of external thermocouple sensors type K. Resilient fast surface temperature sensor, waterproof immersion sensor or e.g. a versatile wire sensor are some of the sensors available.

Using an external surface temperature sensor, you can set the emission factor for a specific material. On “difficult” surfaces, you can apply emission tape and then measure the surface temperature of the tape’s surface with the IR thermometer.
