Purchase information and conditions


Orders can be placed directly on this website or received by telephone or e-mail (order@nordtec.se). It is important that we receive all the information necessary to carry out a correct registration/delivery. For example client’s reference, if any order number, delivery address, invoice address, cargo marking, etc. If you enter an incorrect street address or postcode, an additional charge may be made on a separate invoice.

Note! You cannot cancel your purchase if you choose to order a product with calibration.


The prices on Nordtec’s website are in SEK and exclude VAT, packaging and shipping. Prices are based on our suppliers’ current list prices, shipping costs and the current exchange rate. We reserve the right to adjust prices if any of these factors change. Special orders may be subject to additional shipping costs.


Here on the website, businesses can choose to pay by invoice, card or Swish. For invoice payments, payment terms are normally 30 days net after an approved credit check. If the payment deadline is exceeded, normal penalty interest will be charged.

If you pay by Swish or card, the money is deducted directly from your account/card.

To save the environment, we charge a fee of 29 SEK for paper invoices. Instead, please choose e-invoice or email invoice when shopping with us.

Delivery from Nordtec

Applies freely to Nordtec’s warehouse in Gothenburg. Delivery is by PostNord. Regardless of the payment method, the expected delivery time is 2-14 working days depending on whether the item is in stock or has to be ordered from our suppliers in or outside Sweden. The delivery time is also extended if you order a product to be calibrated before delivery. Stock items are normally dispatched the next working day, if the order is placed before noon. 15.00 on a weekday.


If the goods are damaged on arrival, the recipient must immediately notify the carrier and Nordtec. It is also the responsibility of the buyer to check the goods on arrival for defects or misdelivery. In case of a complaint, the customer is responsible for return shipping to Nordtec Instrument AB, with Posten’s business package or equivalent service.


When items are delivered for inspection, they are automatically invoiced at the end of the inspection period. When returning “bags”, the customer is responsible for return shipping. If damage has occurred to items being returned, the customer will be charged for the cost of restoring the item to its original condition.


We provide a 1-3 year factory warranty on measuring instruments, sensors and related products. The warranty covers, for example, software failures, batteries not charging, product breakage and other malfunctions. We will repair and return the measuring product to you free of charge. However, the warranty does not cover faults and damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance or negligence/accident (e.g. if the product is dropped on the ground). Please note that products sold at a reduced price in the Offers section are not covered by normal guarantees. These products may also lack packaging, manuals, etc. See each product description for what is included.

Calibration cases

The manufacturer’s specification is used as the standard for the accuracy of the instruments or sensors, unless the customer requests otherwise. In addition, to ensure that calibration results comply with specifications or limits, a specific decision rule is used(read more about it here).

During calibration, Nordtec chooses the appropriate measurement method, which also determines the measurement uncertainty in each individual calibration.
