testo 513 is a robust and easy-to-use leak detector for rapid detection of flammable gases such as methane, propane, butane, and hydrogen (forming gas). The instrument is designed for daily use in service, installation, and maintenance of systems in both residential and industrial settings.

With a response time of less than two seconds and high sensitivity, even very small leaks can be located quickly and reliably. The flexible gooseneck makes it easy to access hard-to-reach measurement points.

Clear indication of leaks

The testo 513 displays measurement values both numerically and as a bar graph, making it easy to track changes in gas concentration during leak detection. The leak detector features both audible and visual alarms that provide a clear indication when a leak is detected.

The automatic zero-reset function helps you quickly locate leaks, even in environments where gas is already present in the air. For more advanced troubleshooting, a manual zero-reset option is also available.

Designed for daily use

The robust design, combined with the replaceable sensor, minimizes downtime and keeps maintenance costs low. The sensor has a typical service life of about two years and can be easily replaced by the user without having to send the instrument in for service.
