testo 514 – High-Sensitivity Leak Detector for Refrigerants

The testo 514 is a rugged and easy-to-use leak detector for the rapid detection of refrigerants in refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump systems. The instrument is designed for daily use during installation, service, and maintenance and has been tested in accordance with DIN EN 14624 for AC/R systems.

With a high sensitivity of 3 g/year, the testo 514 can detect even very small refrigerant leaks and meets the requirements of the EU F-Gas Regulation. Thanks to its fast response time of less than two seconds, leaks can be located efficiently and safely.

The flexible and sturdy gooseneck makes it easy to access hard-to-reach measurement points. The instrument is ready for use immediately after startup and requires no manual refrigerant adjustment.

Clear indication of leaks

The testo 514 displays measurement values both numerically and as a bar graph, making it easy to track changes in refrigerant concentration during leak detection. The leak detector features both audible and visual alarms that provide a clear indication when a leak is detected.

The automatic zero-calibration function helps you quickly locate leaks, even in environments where refrigerants are already present. For more precise adjustment, manual zero-calibration is also available.

Designed for everyday use

The robust design, combined with the replaceable refrigerant sensor, minimizes downtime and keeps maintenance costs low. The sensor has a typical service life of about two years and can be easily replaced by the user without having to send the instrument in for service.
