testo 830-T2 – IR thermometer with inputs for probes

Measures both non-contact and with external probes. Two laser points mark the upper and lower edges of the measurement spot, meaning you know exactly which surface you are measuring. The emissivity factor is freely adjustable from 0.1 to 1.00. The backlit display is easy to read even in difficult lighting conditions.

Freely adjustable emissivity setting allows you to adapt the IR thermometer to different materials to achieve the best possible measurement results. For highly reflective surfaces with very low emissivity, we recommend using an emissivity tape (optional) which significantly improves the measurement result.

Functions and benefits of the testo 830-T2 IR thermometer

Choose from a very wide range of external type K thermocouple probes. Spring-loaded fast surface temperature probes, waterproof immersion probes, or for example, a versatile wire probe are some of the probes available. With the help of an external surface temperature probe, you can adjust the emissivity factor for a specific material. On "difficult" surfaces, you can use tape and measure the surface temperature of the tape's surface with the IR temperature probe. A very flexible and useful instrument that fits into any toolbox.
