testo 816-1 is an ideal sound meter for workplaces, industrial and production halls and public places.

At the touch of a button, the instrument can be switched from Slow (1 sec) to Fast (125 ms). It is also possible to switch between the frequency weighted curves A and C by pressing a button. Curve A corresponds to the sound pressure sensitivity of the human ear while curve C is used for low frequency components of noise.

The integrated data memory makes it possible to store over 30,000 values in the sound meter, which can be managed using the software included in the delivery. In addition, the software can be used for online measurements over a longer period. With the optional audio calibrator and the adjustment accessories supplied with it, the testo 816-1 can be calibrated on site.
