The testo 6381 transmitter series is specially designed for cleanroom applications and various hygiene zones in hospitals, for example. Maintaining an overpressure prevents pollutants from entering sensitive areas. It is also possible to connect external wall or duct sensors for measuring moisture values. If necessary, it is also possible to calculate air flows by measuring the differential pressure in a pitot tube (prandtl tube).

The testo 6381 is one of the most accurate instruments and there are 18 different measurement ranges to choose from when ordering, from 0 … 10 Pa up to -1,000 … 1,000 hPa. Thanks to the automatic zeroing, there is no zero point drift. This transmitter also has no temperature dependency as zeroing is done at the process temperature. It also has a very good overpressure protection of 140% of the measuring range, as well as alarm management with adjustable response time and alarm acknowledgement.
